Margaret is now an Old Age Pensioner, she celebrated with all her family and friends. She had her favorite entertainer look like Sid who had her singing. And everyone else up dancing, it was a fabulous afternoon of celebrations.

They all had a fabulous day on the bikes.
They enjoyed it so much that they also attended the next day when they were based at the waterfront. Fabulous time had by all. Came home hungry and tired after all the cycling , we will definitely be meeting up with the dragon family for more sports days soon.
Magdalen House festive show this year was Oor Wulllie at Dundee rep theatre on 14th December.
We found the show very entertaining from beginning to end, we loved the story starting on the train from London to Dundee were oor wulllies lost his bucket, so he is racing to find his bucket with old friends Soapy Wee Eck & Boab, while Basher is also on the hunt for the bucket, with PC Murdoch closely following behind. It brought back a lot of fond memories for everyone in Magdalen house, and they talked about the show for weeks after.
I would like to thank everyone, for their ongoing support and hard work that was put into our coffee morning last Friday. It is very much appreciated, and it was a great day, much enjoyed with tenants’ family & friends who all come along to support Magdalen’s coffee morning . Apologies we were all too busy having fun that we did not get many photos of the day.
It is the first time that Magdalen has hosted a MacMillan coffee morning and we decided to do this in memory of Alan Douglas who we sadly lost to Cancer on the 9th May this year.
The amount raised for MacMillian Cancer Support from Magdalen House is £1420
Which is a fantastic amount, well done everyone who supported Magdalen.
It was all fun and laughter today in the sun with our new garden games. Everyone enjoyed the competition.
Morris Milne turns 80 this week, and he wanted to celebrate with a magician, with his favourite football club Celtic colours tied in, everyone had lots of fun and laughter with Magic Paul, it was a fist time having a magician in Magdalen, but I am sure it will not be the last time we see Magic Paul.
It was a busy night on the racing totes with Magdalen residents scooping up lots of prizes, they had so many prizes it was a trial getting back on the bus at the end of the night, when the residents were asked to sum up the race night in one word, they chose (AMAZING). Lots of fun was had by all on the night and we are all looking forward to our next event.
Magdalen Residents visited Dundee Ice Arena to Support their Ice Hockey Team. A great time was had by all.
On Sunday 10th April 2022 residents of Magdalen House were treated to a spectacular derby effort by The Dundee Stars Ice Hockey Team against Fife Flyers. Everyone enjoyed the fast paced sport and are eager to return to support their local team. The Ice Hockey Season is coming to an end in the UK but will return Mid September when trips to the Dundee Ice Arena will be planned.
