Habibah Bakar is now a Senior Care Assistant (Night Shift)
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Habibah Bakar to the role of Senior Care Assistant – St Columba’s Care Home, Dundee.
Habibah has been an invaluable member of our team since joining us in March 2017. She began her career as a nurse in London, where she developed a deep passion for providing exceptional care. As a Senior Care Assistant, Habibah will continue to bring her wealth of experience and commitment to excellence, ensuring the highest quality of care for all those we serve.

Drumdarroch Snack Shack
We have built a “hydration station” for the use of residents, visitors, and staff.
We are calling it the “Drumdarroch Snack Shack”. There are juices, fruit flavoured water, crisps, fruit and snacks. Please help yourself!
(No, the whisky in the display cabinet in the background is not part of the Snack Shack!!)
Silent Auction Fundraiser at Drumdarroch
Drumdarroch held a fundraising silent auction and buttery morning on 27th July at our local church hall.
The event was well attended with those coming to buy from the auction and some just in for a buttery, a coffee and a catch up with neighbours.
10 of our residents also attended, seeing old neighbours they hadn’t seen in a long time.
We also had a raffle and tombola stand. It was a brilliant day with lots of laughter!
We raised over £1600, which is a fantastic boost to our residents’ activities fund.
We wish to thank all who donated goods, those who parted with their hard-earned cash on the day and all our lovely volunteers.
We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you!!
