PERIPATETIC SUPPORT TEAM - COVERING TAYSIDE - 6 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

This is a VERY exciting new position. You will be working as part of a team of experienced care assistants providing support to our on-site care staff at three of our care homes. These are Harestane Care Home - Dundee, St Columbas Care Home - Dundee & Meigle Country House Care Home - Meigle.

Being part of a team based at our head office in Dundee, you will enjoy working in a variety of different homes each week supporting on-site staff at each home.

You will be involved in the induction of new care staff.

As this role involves working shifts at different Priority Care homes, all business mileage will be paid.

• 22, 33 & 44 hr per week contracts available
• Day & Night Shifts
• £14.00 Per Hour with an excellent overtime rate of £21 per hour
• SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 Years experience in health& social care is essential.
• Full UK Driving licence required.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Medication administration experience preferred - however training can be provided for this.

About Harestane Care Home

The home is a modern, purpose built facility split over two floors and registered to provide care with nursing for 66 clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring individual to take on a new and exciting opportunity within our company.

About Meigle Country House

Meigle Country House is situated amidst Perthshire's rolling and tranquil countryside a short drive from Dundee and on the boundaries of Perthshire and Angus. The home was completely renovated in 2003 allowing us to blend modern facilities with traditional country style and comfort.

We care for elderly adults requiring nursing, residential and respite care in a homely environment.

About St Columbas Care Home

St Columba's Care Home is a newly refurbished home set in attractive gardens within close walking distance to the town centre of Dundee. St Columba's has spacious single en-suite bedrooms and pleasant communal areas to enjoy. We are registered for care of the elderly, offering both residential and nursing care to those with dementia. We can also provide palliative care.

Requirements

• Registered with SSSC
• You must have a full UK Driving licence
• Caring nature.
• Ability to lead a team
• Administer medication
• Liaise with medical professionals
• Complete all care file documentation
